Privacy Policy
Umiyurumu (the “Service”) handles only the information needed to keep your time in this sea safely available.
Information we store
We store an anonymous user ID, a value used to generate your sea, first and most recent use dates, total time spent viewing the sea, an optional jellyfish name, encounter data used to reduce repeated visits, major milestones such as growth and generations, and information needed for transfers. We do not ordinarily collect your name, email address or location. Do not enter personal information as a jellyfish name.
Storage on your device
Sea settings, time spent offline and records are temporarily stored in your browser’s LocalStorage and IndexedDB. When connectivity returns, only the required records are synchronised with Cloudflare D1. Coordinates of jellyfish or fish, bubbles, animation frames and water-current paths are not stored.
Analytics and cookies
We may use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand use and improve the Service. We do not send free-text information that could directly identify you, including names, email addresses or the name given to a jellyfish. Analytics and advertising-related requests are disabled in QA mode.
Transfer codes
Only when you request one, we create a code for moving the jellyfish name, time spent together and this sea’s records to another device. A code can be used once within 24 hours. Creating a new code invalidates the previous one. Do not share the code with others.
Sharing and advertising
Except where required by law, we do not provide stored information to third parties without your consent. If advertising is introduced in the future, we will add the required notices and controls and update this policy.
Access, correction and deletion
Use “Delete all data for this sea” in the app to delete Service data held in Cloudflare D1 and in LocalStorage and IndexedDB on your device. For other requests to access, correct or delete information, contact SUKOSHI NANAME STUDIO through its contact page.
Changes
We may revise this policy when features or laws change. Important changes will be communicated clearly within the Service.
